Industrial Training Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for an Industrial Training Coordinator to design, implement and continuously improve the training system for our European battery manufacturing plant. You will ensure that training programmes meet operational needs, regulatory requirements and quality standards while supporting the company’s growth in clean‑energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the training system, including regulations, procedures, workflows, training and competency matrices, job qualification models and effectiveness assessment mechanisms.
• Create annual, monthly and project‑phase training plans aligned with construction stages, production targets, competency gaps and operational priorities.
• Design detailed training programmes for operators, team leaders, technicians, engineers and support teams, ensuring they are practical, measurable and traceable.
• Ensure all training documentation complies with internal requirements, Portuguese legislation, EHS, quality, production standards and ISO management systems.
• Organise and coordinate training delivery, monitor adherence to plans, evaluate effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain training files, records, competency matrices, progress reports and audit documentation for internal, external and customer audits.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar industrial training role.
• Relevant degree in a related field.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Willingness to travel and work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or similar).
