Human Resources Manager

About the role

This position offers a strong platform for professional growth within a leading biopharmaceutical company. You will shape and execute the local HR strategy, ensuring it aligns with global and regional frameworks while supporting impactful health projects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the local HR operating model in line with global and regional policies.
• Lead end‑to‑end HR activities, including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and HR operations.
• Ensure full compliance with labor legislation, corporate policies, and ethical standards as the senior HR authority at country level.
• Drive organizational effectiveness through talent management, leadership development, succession planning, and change initiatives.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and complex people‑related matters.
• Oversee HR governance, budgeting, headcount planning, internal controls, and data management.
• Lead and develop the local HR team while contributing to regional HR transformation projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Extensive experience in multinational, highly regulated environments.
• Strong expertise across core HR functions (labor law, talent, OD, rewards) and solid business, financial and operational acumen.
• Proven strategic partnership with senior leadership, change‑management and transformation experience.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing abilities.
• Native Portuguese and fluent English.
