Human Resources Assistant

About the role

The Human Resources Assistant provides routine, technical, and administrative support to the HR team. Working under immediate supervision, the assistant helps ensure smooth daily HR operations and contributes to special projects and events.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment, staffing, employee records, new‑hire orientation, benefits communications, and employee recognition.
• Process confidential HR materials such as employment forms, enrollment documents, and pay‑change requests.
• Enter and update employee data, maintain policy and procedure manuals, and distribute communications as needed.
• File all documents in personnel files while preserving confidentiality.
• Support day‑to‑day HR functions and undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate degree in Business or Human Resources (preferred).
• One or more years of experience in an HR support role (preferred).

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
