HR Specialist – Payroll

About the role

The HR Specialist – Payroll ensures that payroll is processed accurately and on time while guaranteeing compliance with labor legislation, tax regulations, and internal policies. Acting as a primary point of contact for employees, the role delivers high‑quality support and contributes to a smooth HR administrative experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage attendance records and execute payroll processing within established deadlines.
• Handle salary garnishments, meal allowance cards, and related administrative tasks.
• Respond promptly to employee queries through the HR Service Desk.
• Prepare and submit payroll‑related filings such as Social Security, IRS withholdings, union contributions, insurance reports, and mandatory declarations.
• Deliver legally required reports, including annual IRS declarations, Single Report, and overtime records.
• Draft, renew, and terminate employment contracts, and monitor probation evaluations.
• Maintain confidential individual employee files and ensure documentation complies with legal and internal standards.
• Issue formal employee communications in line with legal deadlines.
• Oversee the lifecycle of temporary agency workers and support hiring and onboarding of direct‑labor employees.
• Assist internal occupational health activities and ensure consistency across employee‑lifecycle events.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources Management.
• 2‑4 years of experience in payroll and generalist HR activities.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Strong analytical capability, autonomy, and critical thinking.
• Excellent planning, organization, and results‑orientation.
• High level of rigor, secrecy, and discretion.
