About the role
Join Thales' HR Shared Service Center in Lisbon as an HR Operations Assistant, supporting employees and managers across multiple countries. This position requires French language proficiency to serve the Belgian workforce and ensures a smooth, high‑quality employee experience.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on all HR‑related queries.
- Guide new joiners from offer letter through onboarding and beyond.
- Maintain HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Support international teams with onboarding, mobility, and day‑to‑day HR processes.
- Prepare HR letters, reports, and documents that simplify employee interactions.
- Participate in HR projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- A degree in HR, Management or a related field, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
- Fluency in French to support HR operations for Belgium.
- Strong, clear, and approachable communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented mindset with the ability to bring structure to processes.
- Comfort working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Adaptable, proactive, and solution‑oriented attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience using HR platforms such as Workday or ServiceNow (a plus).
