HR Manager – Southern Europe (Porto)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the Southern Europe region from our Porto office. Reporting to the Head of Southern Europe and matrix‑reporting to the Global Head of HR in Denmark, you will join a ten‑person international HR team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted HR business partner to managers across Portugal, Spain, France and Italy, providing proactive, outcome‑driven advice.
• Drive recruitment in all four countries, from role definition and sourcing to final hiring.
• Own the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development and off‑boarding.
• Leverage AI tools to automate repetitive HR tasks and improve process consistency.
• Roll out global HR tools, processes and standards locally, ensuring strong execution.
• Handle HR administration, contracts and HR system management with support from local assistants.
• Provide data‑driven insights to support leadership decision‑making.
• Contribute to a culture of engagement, well‑being and high performance while travelling regularly between offices.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in an HR business partner role, preferably in an international or multi‑site environment.
• Master’s degree in HR or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese employment legislation; French law knowledge is a plus.
• Fluency in Portuguese, French and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with local management and an international HR team.
• Curiosity about AI and digital tools in everyday HR work.
• Clean criminal record.
