HR Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

Our client, an international organisation expanding in Portugal, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support its local operations. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, helping to align people practices with business objectives in a dynamic industrial setting.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers on workforce planning, organisational development and change management initiatives.
• Advise on employee relations, performance management and Portuguese labour law matters.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, talent development and employee engagement activities.
• Contribute to compensation & benefits design and continuous improvement projects.
• Monitor HR metrics and provide insights for business decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese labour law and employee relations.
• Proven experience partnering with operational managers and senior business leaders.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem‑solving abilities.
