HR Business Partner

About the role

Thales Portugal is looking for an HR Business Partner to support managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle. Based in Lisbon, you will help drive performance, development, engagement and employee relations while ensuring consistent application of HR policies.

Key responsibilities

• Support hiring and workforce planning to secure the right talent.
• Identify, design and implement training and development initiatives.
• Manage performance, talent reviews and career development processes.
• Advise managers and employees on HR topics, including employee relations.
• Oversee compensation, payroll support and internal mobility processes.
• Ensure consistent application of HR policies across all stages of the employee lifecycle.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong communication skills in English (mandatory).
• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of core HR processes such as performance, compensation, employee relations and talent development.
• Understanding of labour law, preferably Portugal or Spain.
• Experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday or similar).

Required skills

• Workday (or comparable HR system) proficiency.
