Head Wellness Concierge

About the role

We are seeking a Head Wellness Concierge to lead the reception and reservations for the spa and wellness areas at Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club, a private members‑only community in Comporta, Portugal. The role ensures a smooth, personalized experience for members and guests while overseeing front‑of‑house operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and guide members through their wellness journey, providing personalized service.
• Lead daily front‑of‑house operations, including reception setup, reservations, booking confirmations, and member profile updates.
• Handle calls, emails, member requests, and incident reports with professionalism and confidentiality.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all wellness areas.
• Support sales through upselling of wellness activities, services, and promotions.
• Prepare daily reports, assist with stock control and purchasing, and ensure accurate member charges.
• Lead, motivate, and support wellness concierges and attendants, including onboarding and shift guidance.
• Collaborate with managers, attend meetings and training, and contribute to operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety guidelines, and local regulations.
• Deliver exceptional member service and manage service recovery when needed.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in luxury spa, wellness, or hospitality front‑of‑house roles.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Warm, proactive, service‑driven attitude with ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Professional appearance, high ethical standards, and strong attention to detail.
• Passion for wellness, guest experience, and maintaining high service standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with wellness or reservation systems.
