Head of Consolidation

About the role

The Head of Consolidation is responsible for the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of BA Glass Group’s financial information. This senior finance position leads group consolidation, monthly and annual closing, internal control coordination, and high‑quality reporting to management, the Board, auditors, banks and regulators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly group consolidation process using SAP BPC, ensuring correct scope, exchange rates, adjustments and eliminations.
• Oversee BPC controls, analyse deviations and provide clear explanations.
• Coordinate the monthly closing calendar, monitor deadlines, and review key postings such as hedging, transfer margins, CO₂ adjustments and HR‑related finance files.
• Act as process owner for finance master data, maintaining G/L accounts, reporting hierarchies and FX gain/loss determination.
• Manage the annual closing process, support statutory financial statement approval and serve as the main finance counterpart for external auditors.
• Support ESG and sustainability reporting in collaboration with corporate functions.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in group consolidation and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of monthly and annual closing procedures.
• Proven ability to coordinate finance teams across multiple countries.
• Excellent understanding of internal control and governance frameworks.
