Treasury Professional

About the role

As a Treasury Professional you will join a multicultural team in Lisbon supporting Siemens Energy’s treasury and corporate finance functions across Europe. You will work on cash management, foreign‑exchange risk, and trade finance while helping to implement new treasury technologies and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the CFO on treasury and corporate finance matters.
• Manage local bank relationships and negotiate financing contracts.
• Support in‑house bank activities such as company funding, payment factory operations, bank‑account administration, central bank reporting, FX risk management, and user management for treasury IT tools.
• Contribute to cash‑management, FX‑risk, and trade‑finance processes, including bank‑guarantee management.
• Assist with new system implementations, mergers & acquisitions, and the development of financial models.

Required profile

• Completed studies in business administration, economics or a commercial apprenticeship in banking.
• Minimum three years of experience in corporate finance or banking, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
• Strong communication skills in a multicultural setting and knowledge of European market regulations.
• Customer‑focused, team‑oriented with solid Excel and IT‑tool proficiency.
