Guest Relations Officer (Shipboard)

About the role

We are seeking a Guest Relations Officer to join our shipboard hospitality team. The role involves delivering high‑quality, personalized service to both guests and crew, acting as the brand voice of the ship and handling guest communications with professionalism and empathy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a constant presence of professionalism and emergency preparedness within stateroom services.
• Support operations by resolving elevator and ADA alarms and handling external guest calls.
• Respond to escalated guest concerns in a courteous, considerate, and solution‑focused manner.
• Collect and analyse metrics such as guest counts, call volume, and call content to improve service delivery.
• Communicate inventory, program access, and maintenance requirements, taking stewardship of work areas and tools.
• Lead by example, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and respectful treatment of all guests and crew.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience as a Front Desk or Receptionist in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Clear, courteous spoken English; conversational proficiency in additional languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French or German) is preferred.
• Shipboard guest‑services experience is an advantage.
