Guest Experience & Front‑of‑House Team Member

About the role

As a Guest Experience & Front‑of‑House Team Member you will be one of the first points of contact for visitors to Duro de Matar inside Time Out Market. You will guide guests through the restaurant’s menu, ensure a smooth and fast service, and help create a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and create a strong first impression.
• Guide guests through the menu and promote loyalty.
• Maintain clear communication between front‑of‑house and kitchen.
• Assist in delivering orders quickly and accurately.
• Resolve guest questions and issues calmly and professionally.
• Support a smooth, fast, and positive service flow during busy periods.

Required profile

• Passion for service and hospitality.
• Fluent English (essential); Portuguese is a strong plus.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stay calm, focused, and efficient under pressure.
• Previous experience in restaurants, cafés, food halls or similar fast‑paced guest‑facing roles.
• Front‑of‑house hospitality experience is a strong plus.
• Genuine pride in delivering great guest experiences.

Required skills

• Fluent English (essential).
• Portuguese language (strong plus).

What we offer

• Net salary €1,350–€1,450 per month, plus up to €300 in KPI bonuses.
• 8‑hour shifts, 5 days a week with two consecutive days off.
• No take‑home work; schedule is fully on‑site.
• Location in Time Out Market, Cais do Sodré, Lisbon.
