German-Speaking Customer Support Specialist

About the role

Kats Recruitment is recruiting German-speaking Customer Support Specialists for an on-site position in Porto, Portugal, serving a leading international brand. You will be the direct point of contact for German-speaking customers, helping them with service inquiries, accounts and orders while working in a modern, multicultural office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional, empathetic customer care in German by phone, email and live chat
• Help customers with account setup, order processing, delivery tracking, billing and returns
• Diagnose issues accurately and guide users to clear, lasting solutions
• Maintain high CSAT scores and accurate logging of cases in the internal CRM
• Spot recurring problems and share them with team leads, and work with escalation units on complex cases

Required profile

• Native or near-native German (C1/C2), written and spoken
• English at B2 level or higher for internal collaboration and training
• Previous customer support, contact centre, hospitality or retail experience is an advantage; entry-level candidates are welcome
• Availability to work on-site in Porto on a rotating Monday-to-Sunday schedule (two rest days per week)

Required skills

• Good digital literacy and multitasking across several software tools
• Clear verbal communication and precise written grammar
