Front Office Manager – Hospitality & Guest Experience

About the role

Canaan Hub is launching a vibrant hospitality hub that blends accommodation, coworking, food & beverage, and community spaces. As Front Office Manager, you will shape the guest experience from day one, leading the front desk team and ensuring the brand’s warm, authentic hospitality is delivered consistently.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train, coach and develop a high‑performing Front Office team.
• Design and implement pre‑opening procedures, service standards, workflows and training plans.
• Oversee daily front desk operations: arrivals, departures, room allocations, guest communications, cash handling and service recovery.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Revenue Management, Food & Beverage and other departments to ensure seamless guest journeys.
• Manage the Cloudbeds PMS and related front office systems, maintaining data accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Handle guest feedback and complex situations with empathy, professionalism and sound judgement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading front office or front desk teams in a hotel or similar hospitality setting.
• Demonstrated ability to support hotel pre‑opening activities and develop operational procedures.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, with a people‑first leadership style.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments to deliver a cohesive guest experience.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Cloudbeds PMS or comparable front office management systems.
