Community Manager – Social Media & Events

About the role

Canaan Hub is looking for a high‑energy Community Manager to be the face, voice, and vibe‑maker of its boutique hospitality hub. You will bridge brand strategy and daily on‑site action, creating engaging social‑media content and fostering a lively community for digital nomads and travelers.

Key responsibilities

• Script, shoot, and edit short‑form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok) that showcases daily life, guest interactions, and local events.
• Own the monthly content calendar, turning strategic goals into fresh, on‑the‑ground stories.
• Plan, promote, and host on‑site activations such as social hours, meet‑ups, and game nights, turning physical energy into digital hype.
• Identify, pitch, and host travel influencers and content creators, ensuring high‑quality brand‑aligned output.
• Manage daily interactions across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Google Review with an authentic, friendly tone.
• Report channel growth, engagement metrics, and guest feedback, proposing creative tweaks to boost brand presence.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in community management, content creation, or social‑media marketing.
• Hospitality experience is a strong plus.
• Comfortable in front of the camera and able to work autonomously while collaborating with leadership.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mobile video editing tools such as CapCut or InShot.
• Strong knowledge of Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google Review platforms.
• Ability to script, shoot, and edit short‑form video quickly.
