French‑Speaking AML Analyst

About the role

Capgemini is looking for a French‑speaking Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) Analyst to join its Lisbon team. The analyst will support the bank‑wide compliance function by investigating potential financial‑crime risks and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct AML investigations, assess risks and verify compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform in‑depth analysis of clients, transactions, counterparties and ownership structures to identify suspicious activity.
• Prioritise and manage cases according to risk level and escalation deadlines.
• Prepare clear, evidence‑based investigation reports with findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing and process optimisation.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC principles, compliance practices and banking regulations.
• Ability to conduct investigations, assess risks and identify financial‑crime indicators.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Excellent analytical and critical‑thinking skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong written communication skills for clear reporting.
• Team‑oriented with effective collaboration abilities.
• Availability to work on‑site in Lisbon.
