Freight Forwarder – Automotive Logistics (Porto)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Freight Forwarder to join our fast‑paced Automotive Logistics team in Porto. You will be responsible for quoting and coordinating time‑critical shipments between Morocco, Portugal, Spain and France, ensuring speed, accuracy and high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Quote all shipment requests to and from Morocco, Portugal, Spain and France with speed and accuracy.
• Support automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers by meeting strict customer SLAs.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating competitive rates using local market knowledge.
• Provide clear handovers, accurate reporting and support KPI requirements, ensuring customs compliance where needed.
• Achieve strong quote‑to‑booking conversion rates and meet monthly profit targets.

Required profile

• Strong English communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Experience in logistics, transport planning or freight forwarding, including quoting and carrier interaction.
• Commercially aware negotiator with solid understanding of margin and pricing.
• Competent in MS Office and quick to learn new systems.
• Good knowledge of PT/ES/FR/MA geography and ability to work under pressure.
• Customer‑focused, proactive and adaptable with strong relationship‑building abilities.
