Freelance Full-Stack Web App Developer (JavaScript/TypeScript & Python/Node)

About the role

Mindrift is seeking experienced freelance Full‑Stack Web App Developers to work on the Tendem project, building interactive browser‑based applications in a hybrid AI‑human environment. As an "AI Pilot," you will collaborate with AI agents that handle repetitive tasks while you provide end‑to‑end engineering, architectural judgment, and quality control.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive web applications using modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue, or similar).
• Create backend APIs with Python (FastAPI/Flask) or Node.js (Express).
• Define data models and persistence layers using SQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQLite) or NoSQL stores.
• Implement authentication, session management, and role‑based access controls.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and LLM services such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
• Handle state management, input validation, error handling, and loading states.
• Build standalone Python tools and scripts for data processing or lightweight backend utilities.
• Review AI‑generated code, refactor for security, performance, and maintainability.
• Write clear, testable code and debug issues across the full stack.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on full‑stack web development experience.
• Strong foundation in both frontend and backend technologies.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, part‑time freelance setting.
• Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
