Backend Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a green‑field project, responsible for developing and maintaining our platform. The primary focus will be building REST APIs for back‑end services while collaborating with an exceptional engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement software and corresponding services.
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality and organization.

Required profile

• A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (not mandatory).
• Previous experience in the finance sector is a plus.
• Understanding of multiprogramming (routines) is a plus.

Required skills

• Designing and implementing REST API providers and consumers.
• Good understanding of Clean Architecture.
• Secure software development principles.
• Test‑driven development and testing methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and general database concepts.
• Proficient use of Git and Docker containers.
• Familiarity with continuous integration pipelines.
• Experience with event‑driven architecture (Kafka) and microservices.
