Financial Controller Trainee Internship

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Financial Controller Trainee to join Siemens Global Business Services for a 12‑month paid internship. You will support the Finance team in operational tasks while gaining exposure to controlling and reporting functions in a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with data entry, reconciliations and basic financial processing.
• Support monthly reporting activities such as cost‑center reports, accruals and variance analysis.
• Help prepare budgets and forecasts and participate in financial reviews with business‑line controllers.
• Collaborate with various business lines to resolve daily finance‑related queries.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in an international team.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Solid knowledge of MS Office.
• Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
