R2R Fixed Assets Team Leader

About the role

Lead a team of accounting experts responsible for month‑end closing, fixed‑asset accounting, and general ledger maintenance. The role ensures compliance with IFRS and local GAAP while driving finance transformation initiatives within a global energy technology company.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end activities, including Smart close (Blackline) and account reconciliations.
• Manage Fixed Assets processes and maintain General Ledger accuracy.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex operational issues.
• Lead continuous‑improvement projects, standardising and automating finance processes.
• Support internal and external audits by providing timely information and addressing auditor queries.
• Document and implement new procedures, ensuring robust internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Fixed Assets and General Ledger accounting.
• At least 3 years of team‑leadership experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP‑FI.
• Fluent English and communicative Portuguese.
