Financial Controller for Global Functions (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join Siemens Global Business Services’ Finance and Procurement Services team. The role supports the GBS Controller in Germany and contributes to planning, budgeting and cost analysis for Global Functions across Europe and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the GBS Controller with planning and forecasting activities.
• Prepare and validate Global Functions budgets and forecasts, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor and analyse cost trends, investigate deviations and support cost allocation.
• Manage cost charging for general, employee and travel expenses and track forecast evolution.
• Produce standard and ad‑hoc reports, scorecards, graphics and analytical commentary.
• Participate in month‑end closing activities.
• Maintain close communication with entities within the responsibility area.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
