Trainee Fixed Income Analyst – Electronic Client Solutions

About the role

The role is part of the Electronic Client Solutions (ECS) team within BNP Paribas Global Markets. As a Trainee Fixed Income Analyst you will support client enablement, business support and pricing configuration for electronic trading platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client/user enablement requests for electronic trading platforms such as Cortex Suites, Bloomberg, Tradeweb, FXall, 360t and FIX API connections.
• Resolve issues across all electronic products, ensuring clients are connected, priced and able to trade at all times.
• Monitor system status and electronic trade flows, using data‑mining analysis tools to identify problems.
• Manage pricing and tier changes, price controls and limits across fixed income products.
• Engage with clients to monitor activity, conduct feedback surveys and record interactions in the e‑commerce CRM.

Required profile

• Academic background in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Strong interest and overall understanding of the financial markets.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and client‑focus.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines and collaborate in a team.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Intermediate Python programming and other IT coding skills.
• Experience with data‑mining analysis tools.
