Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Finance Business Partner to lead and shape our financial operations in Portugal for a fast‑growing international renewable energy group. Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Controlling Officer in Warsaw, you will act as the primary financial advisor to the local team while ensuring alignment with Group standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the key financial business owner for the local team, translating data into actionable insights.
• Oversee local accounting records in line with Portuguese SNC standards and Group policies.
• Manage day‑to‑day financial operations, including re‑invoicing, cost capitalization, accruals, and month‑/year‑end closings.
• Coordinate with external tax, audit, and legal advisors to ensure full regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and submit accurate monthly, quarterly and annual reports to Group headquarters.
• Participate in Group budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning cycles, providing reliable local inputs.
• Build new financial processes from scratch and improve existing workflows, controls and reporting procedures.
• Lead the rollout of financial systems and tools in collaboration with external consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in finance, controlling or accounting within an international or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese accounting standards (SNC) and tax regulations; familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
• Experience with group reporting, consolidation packages and headquarters‑driven reporting frameworks.
