Finance Business Analyst

About the role

The Finance Business Analyst will provide functional and business support for reporting, planning and controlling applications within Airbus Portugal. You will act as a bridge between end‑users and IT, ensuring timely resolution of queries and continuous improvement of financial data tools.

Key responsibilities

• Support reporting transformation projects and qualify, route, and escalate user queries.
• Analyze and prioritize incidents, determine required support level, and deliver customized solutions.
• Maintain a portfolio of finance‑related applications, responding to queries especially during monthly closings.
• Keep user documentation up‑to‑date and promote it via internal channels.
• Ensure correct BI financial data access in line with Airbus ethics and compliance.
• Conduct user training sessions and advise on optimal data retrieval methods.
• Support maintenance of tools, reports, and master data following business changes.
• Report evolution needs and communicate specifications to development teams.

Required profile

• Good understanding of finance business processes (R2R, P2P, O2C, budgeting and controlling).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Self‑motivated, quick learner with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Customer‑oriented with a team spirit and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English; additional languages (French, German, Spanish) are a plus.
