Dishwasher – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Dishwasher to join the Food & Beverage team at Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club, a private members‑only luxury resort in Comporta, Portugal. You will play a key part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across all kitchen and dining areas.

Key responsibilities

• Clean dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines and manual methods.
• Maintain sanitation standards in all kitchen work areas, including sweeping, trash removal, and surface cleaning.
• Set up and store china, glassware, and silverware for all dining outlets.
• Monitor and log chemical storage, concentrations, and safety procedures.
• Perform regular inventory checks and report any shortages.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and properly maintained.
• Follow opening and closing procedures, and assist with departmental objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum three months experience in a high‑end restaurant, resort, or private club.
• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 50 kg for extended periods.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
