Director of Engineering - Integration Platform

About the role

Intermedia is seeking a Director of Engineering to own the strategy, architecture, and execution of its Unite Integrations Builder and Integration Platform. This senior leader will shape a scalable platform that connects Intermedia’s communication and collaboration products with third‑party applications, driving both product innovation and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the engineering organization responsible for Unite Integrations Builder and the Integration Platform, setting technical direction and engineering standards.
• Define and own the technical roadmap for a scalable integration platform that serves customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Drive architecture and evolution of integration capabilities, including APIs, connectors, webhooks, event‑driven flows, workflow automation, authentication/authorization, data mapping, and reusable services.
• Partner closely with Product Management to translate product strategy into executable engineering plans and delivery estimates.
• Establish API‑first and platform engineering standards that ensure extensibility, security, backward compatibility, reliability, and a strong developer experience.
• Ensure the platform can scale, monitor, and manage the full lifecycle of integrations.

• Proven people‑leadership experience in a senior engineering role.
• Deep expertise in platform architecture, API design, and integration strategy.
• Track record of delivering complex, cloud‑based integration solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills with product, engineering, and cross‑functional teams.
