DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a high‑performing engineering team in Portugal. You will help design, build and maintain scalable infrastructure that supports large‑scale digital platforms, while driving modern DevOps practices across cloud and on‑premises environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and promote modern DevOps practices that improve collaboration between development, QA and operations.
• Deploy, manage and optimise Kubernetes clusters in both cloud‑based and on‑premises settings.
• Build, maintain and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC) methodologies.
• Enhance platform observability by implementing monitoring, logging, alerting and performance optimisation solutions.
• Administer Linux‑based infrastructure, ensuring security, availability and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot production issues and optimise deployment workflows.
• Contribute to the evolution of cloud infrastructure, automation strategies and platform performance.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar infrastructure automation role.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Configuration as Code, preferably using Ansible.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset within Agile teams.
