Development Communications Associate

About the role

We are seeking a Development Communications Associate to support member and prospect communications throughout the lifecycle of home projects at our luxury residential community in Comporta, Portugal. You will work closely with the development team to ensure clear, timely, and accurate information flow.

Key responsibilities

• Support and coordinate communication with members and prospects during all project phases.
• Assist in scheduling and preparing member meetings, site walks, and project milestone events.
• Track progress across design, permitting, tendering, and construction stages.
• Conduct site visits, document progress, and produce photo and status reports.
• Maintain accurate records of communications, reports, and project documentation.
• Support the team with design documentation and development reporting.

Required profile

• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Background in customer service or a role with strong client interaction.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
• Strong listening, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work under time pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Adobe tools (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign) – a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project – a plus.
