Data Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team in Lisbon. This hybrid role requires at least three days per week in the office and focuses on building scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines using Databricks and ETL tools.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models and ensure data quality.
• Implement data governance, monitoring, and documentation for production systems.
• Partner with engineering and business units to define long‑term data platform architecture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., computer science, statistics).
• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or software development.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks and ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Alteryx or Knime.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL development background.
