Data Analytics Consultant

About the role

Efficio, a specialist procurement and supply chain consultancy, is recruiting a Data Analytics Consultant for its Lisbon office, which has nearly 200 people. The role sits in the Digital Delivery team, at the intersection of consulting, data and technology. You will use data to solve real procurement and supply chain challenges for global clients, rather than building dashboards or maintaining internal reporting. Consultants in Lisbon support clients worldwide and can travel internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside consulting teams on global procurement and supply chain transformation projects.
• Gather, assess and understand client data from ERP systems and other sources.
• Clean, transform and structure complex datasets into analytical models such as Spend Cubes.
• Develop data pipelines and automate repetitive data preparation with Python, SQL and AI.
• Analyse procurement and spend data to uncover sourcing opportunities and support consulting recommendations.
• Use AI-enabled tools and internal technologies to improve delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate with consultants and client stakeholders to turn business problems into data solutions.
• Present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Improve delivery processes through knowledge sharing and automation.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, data consulting or a related field.
• Experience working with and processing varied, disparate datasets.
• Experience working with ERP data (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.).
• Procurement or supply chain exposure.
• Experience in consulting or client-facing delivery.
• Experience with AI-assisted analytics or automation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, comfortable working across multiple projects.
