Data & Analytics Analyst

About the role

The Data & Analytics Analyst will create and maintain reporting artifacts such as dashboards and reports that support Oliver Wyman’s operations. The role blends technical reporting expertise with a passion for analytics to uncover insights and answer the “Why” behind business data.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to define reporting and analytics needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Develop new data sets, metrics and analytics content to support strategic decisions.
• Identify and implement efficiencies and enhancements in reporting and analytics processes.
• Support the analytics community through training, tool awareness and data model proficiency.
• Collaborate with data architects to define requirements for BI visualizations and tools.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in business analytics and support functions.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking and ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior executives.
• Self‑starter with a collaborative mindset and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server and Tableau Data Prep (design, develop, deploy dashboards).
• SQL/PLSQL development and experience managing Tableau sites/projects.
• Agile delivery methodology in data and analytics contexts.
• Data‑warehouse processes, dimensional modeling and ETL integration.
• Knowledge of BI tools such as Oracle OBIEE, Business Objects.
• Statistical programming (R, SAS, Python) – a plus.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
