Cybersecurity Consultant (Microsoft Security Engineer)

About the role

Next Engineering is looking for a mid‑level Cybersecurity Consultant with a strong focus on Microsoft security technologies. You will work in a hybrid setting in Lisbon, helping enterprise clients secure their IT infrastructure and improve governance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify security risks and propose continuous improvements in governance and compliance.
• Implement and operate Microsoft security solutions across enterprise environments.
• Perform security hardening, identity and access management, and endpoint compliance tasks.
• Collaborate with international teams to deliver technical security implementations.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in IT infrastructure and enterprise security.
• Professional fluency in English.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as banking or financial services is a strong plus.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.
