Customer Support Specialist

About the role

As a Customer Support Specialist at ABB you will provide technical, order and payment assistance to both internal and external customers. You will act as the main point of contact, coordinating with sales, operations, supply‑chain and engineering teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and customers stay informed.

Key responsibilities

• Independently resolve complex customer support issues and coordinate end‑to‑end handling of requests (production capability, scheduling, quoting, pricing, invoicing, etc.).
• Maintain proactive communication with customers, updating them on status and clarifying doubts.
• Prepare and analyse regular statistics and sales performance forecasts, sharing insights with management.
• Identify fulfillment issues early, work with PMM or engineering to propose alternative materials.
• Track sales performance against targets and contribute to strategy development to achieve 100 % ROTD.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field (or associate degree with additional experience).
• 6+ years of relevant experience in customer support, supply‑chain, Incoterms and project execution.
• Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Strong organizational skills with a sense of urgency and ownership.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel).
• Advanced knowledge of SAP.
• Moderate to advanced ability to manage projects using MS Project.
• Experience writing test plans and detailed test reports.
• Knowledge of Incoterms.
