Store Associate

About the role

The Store Associate works directly with wholesale and retail customers at Sherwin‑Williams Store #702864 in Arecibo, PR. You will help customers find the right paint solutions, answer product questions, and ensure a high‑quality shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in‑store and over the phone, identifying needs and recommending appropriate products.
• Process sales transactions accurately following company policies.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
• Maintain precise work order files and product formulas.
• Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse, tint and mix to specifications, and stock shelves.
• Load and unload delivery trucks, assist with deliveries, and keep the store clean and well‑presented.
• Stay up‑to‑date on product features and inventory control procedures.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb frequently and up to 70 lb occasionally.
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• For internal candidates: recent performance rating of “meets expectations” and completion of required eLearning courses.
