Customer Finance Intern (French Speaking)

About the role

AMGEN's Capability Center Portugal, based in Lisbon, is recruiting a Customer Finance Intern (French speaking). You will support key financial operations that help deliver medicines to patients worldwide, working closely with Customer Finance professionals, internal stakeholders and external customers. The internship covers accounts receivable, cash collections, credit management and financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Cash collections and receivables support: assist with cash collection, monitor outstanding balances, support cash application and keep financial records accurate and compliant with company policy.
• Credit and risk management: support customer credit reviews, monitor credit limits, analyse customer financial information and contribute to credit risk management in assigned markets.
• Financial operations: maintain accurate customer master data, support accounts receivable reconciliations, record transactions according to local and corporate requirements and ensure data integrity in finance systems.
• Stakeholder collaboration: partner with internal teams and external customers to resolve payment queries, gather cash forecast information and support daily Customer Finance activities.
• Continuous improvement: suggest process improvements, use finance tools and systems effectively, support colleagues and collaborate with colleagues from diverse international backgrounds.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics or a similar field.
• Knowledge of the basic principles, methods and practices of Customer Finance and Accounts Receivables.
• Fluency in English; fluency in French is preferred.

Required skills

• Preferred: SAP knowledge.
• Preferred: Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint).
