Credit Analyst Trainee

About the role

Join Siemens Energy’s global Customer Credit Risk Intelligence (CCRI) team as a Credit Analyst Trainee. You will gain hands‑on experience in credit risk management, working on customer credit assessments, financial analysis, and risk reporting while collaborating with seasoned analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Support customer credit risk assessments and basic financial statement analysis.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing customer credit files and risk documentation.
• Help monitor customer portfolios, rating movements, and risk indicators.
• Contribute to the preparation of credit risk reports, dashboards, and portfolio analytics.
• Participate in automation, digitalisation, and continuous‑improvement initiatives within CCRI.
• Learn Siemens Energy’s credit risk methodologies, governance framework, and best practices.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Strong interest in corporate credit risk, financial analysis, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP, Power BI, SQL, Python, or other data‑analytics tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and develop in a global, dynamic environment.
• Fluent English required; additional languages such as German, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, or French are an advantage.
