Community Manager – Social Media & On‑Site Activations

About the role

Canaan Hub is seeking a high‑energy Community Manager to become the face and voice of its boutique hospitality hub in Montijo. The role blends social‑media expertise with on‑site event activation, turning everyday guest experiences into engaging digital content.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, script, shoot and edit short‑form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok) that showcases daily life, guest interactions and local events.
• Own the monthly content calendar, turning strategic guidance into fresh, on‑the‑ground stories.
• Plan, promote and host social activations such as meet‑ups, game nights and local experiences to foster community spirit.
• Identify, pitch and host travel influencers and digital‑nomad creators, ensuring high‑quality brand‑aligned content.
• Manage daily engagement across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Google Review, responding with an authentic, friendly tone.
• Report channel growth, engagement metrics and guest feedback to management, proposing creative improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in community management, content creation or social‑media marketing; hospitality experience is a strong plus.
• Comfortable in front of the camera and able to work autonomously while aligning with leadership goals.
• Passion for trends, viral audio formats and creating a lively digital presence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mobile video editing tools such as CapCut and InShot.
