Commis Waiter / Junior Server (M/F)

About the role

Join the Aethos Ericeira team as a Commis Waiter / Junior Server and become part of a community‑focused hospitality concept. You will support the food and beverage service, ensuring guests enjoy memorable experiences in a stunning cliffside setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, escort them to tables and provide attentive service.
• Prepare and maintain table settings, perform mise‑en‑place and keep the dining area clean.
• Present menus, give recommendations and take orders using the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages while upholding quality and service standards.
• Assist with stock management, billing and closing checks.
• Maintain strict compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.

Required profile

• Professional training in Food & Beverage service or 1‑2 years proven experience.
• Fluent Portuguese (mandatory) and strong English skills; additional languages a plus.
• Customer‑oriented, friendly, excellent communication.
• Team player, proactive, responsible and flexible for rotating and split shifts.
