About the role

Aubay Portugal is seeking an experienced COBOL Developer to join its team and work on critical systems for large organisations in banking, insurance, telecommunications and energy. The position is based in Portugal and includes relocation support.

Required profile

Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in COBOL development.
Fluency in English and French.
Strong customer focus, teamwork, and ability to prioritise tasks.
Alignment with Aubay’s corporate culture, integrity and ethics.

Required skills

COBOL, CICS, DB2, Mainframe environments.
VSAM, ChangeMan, TSO.
Git, Python, Java 8+, Groovy.
SonarQube, Eclipse, IBM Developer for z/OS (IDz), VS Code.
Understanding of continuous integration, automation and software quality practices.
