Buyer Specialist for Corporate Services – French Speaker

About the role

The Buyer Specialist for Corporate Services will join BNP Paribas' Group Category team to optimise spend across corporate real estate, construction, facilities management and related categories on a global scale. The role requires fluency in French and a strong background in procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement procurement strategies and action plans for assigned categories.
• Oversee the execution of purchasing actions across all BNP Paribas entities.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring cost, quality, deadline and service‑level targets are met.
• Lead multi‑functional teams, coordinate Entity Buyers and Chief Procurement Officers.
• Supervise supplier selection processes and negotiate major contracts.
• Monitor and report savings, ensuring compliance with CSR policies.
• Manage an expense budget of several hundred million euros with a global scope.
• Contribute to cross‑functional purchasing initiatives and the development of the purchasing community.

Required profile

• Fluent in French (spoken and written).
• Proven experience in corporate procurement, preferably within real estate, construction or facilities management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of CSR and sustainability requirements in procurement.
