Business Controller

About the role

The Business Controller will act as a strategic partner to the Management Team, translating financial data into actionable insights that drive cost efficiency and sustainable growth for Sociedade Central de Cervejas e Bebidas. Reporting to the Strategic Business Control Manager, you will work closely with finance and support functions to enable confident decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with support functions to turn financial information into practical business insights.
• Lead planning and forecasting activities, aligning resources with business priorities.
• Promote cost awareness, productivity and simplification through collaborative business partnering.
• Coordinate productivity initiatives, track benefits and support business cases.
• Ensure financial information is well‑structured, meaningful and easy to use for resource management.
• Contribute to investment planning and business case preparation, directing resources to high‑value initiatives.
• Strengthen collaboration between support functions and finance through accurate reporting and proactive communication.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or Management.
• 4‑7 years of experience in business controlling, CAPEX control or related support‑function controlling, ideally in a multinational FMCG environment.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail and proactive, self‑starting attitude.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Valid legal documentation to work in Portugal.
