Business Architect

About the role

As a Business Architect within Springer Nature's Technology division, you will operate at the enterprise level to align business goals with technology execution. Reporting to the Director of Business Architecture & Integration, you will help shape and deliver strategic initiatives that drive value across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement global business architecture strategies that support the company’s vision.
• Partner with stakeholders to design customer‑centric solutions and ensure seamless integration of acquired entities.
• Lead technical due diligence during M&A activities and orchestrate enterprise‑wide business change.
• Mentor Business Analysts and foster a community of best practices.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to translate strategic objectives into actionable road‑maps.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise‑level business architecture or related transformation roles.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work across multiple geographies and cultures.
