Business Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a leading Portuguese financial/payments institution. You will work directly with decision‑makers three days a week on‑site, guiding the full analysis lifecycle from problem discovery to solution validation.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with clients, users and stakeholders to uncover real business needs and define meaningful requirements.
• Map current (AS‑IS) processes, design future (TO‑BE) workflows and identify automation opportunities.
• Write use cases, user stories, business rules and create wireframes when needed.
• Validate that delivered features match specifications, participate in backlog refinement and sprint planning, and manage evolving requirements.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems and spot hidden dependencies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to act as the bridge between business and delivery teams.
• Fluent Portuguese speaker.

Required skills

• Business analysis experience, including process modeling and requirements documentation.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
• SQL knowledge and basic data‑analysis capabilities.
