Business Analyst

About the role

The Business Analyst will work within the Portfolio & Governance Office of Springer Nature Technology, bridging IT and business functions to deliver enterprise‑wide value. Based in Lisbon, you will support the full lifecycle of IT processes, systems and ecosystems, ensuring alignment with customer, business and employee needs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute global business architecture strategies.
• Lead technical due diligence for M&A activities and integrate acquired organisations.
• Support the design, analysis, delivery and operation of IT solutions across the enterprise.
• Facilitate enterprise‑wide business change initiatives and mentor junior Business Analysts.
• Contribute to the development of transparent, consistent IT governance and value‑delivery frameworks.

Required profile

• Strong background in business administration or information technology.
• Experience in bridging business and technical teams within large, complex organisations.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to think strategically and translate business aspirations into actionable technology solutions.
