Business Analyst – Data & Regulatory Reporting

About the role

Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join its Lisbon team. You will work on large‑scale data‑warehouse and regulatory‑reporting projects, bridging business needs with technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business, risk, finance and regulatory requirements.
• Translate regulatory rules into functional specifications, business rules and data models.
• Perform data modelling (Data Vault, Logical Data Modelling) and create source‑to‑target mappings.
• Conduct data lineage analysis, impact assessments and data reconciliation using SQL (Oracle/SQL Server).
• Lead 3‑Amigos sessions, scenario‑based testing, UAT and end‑to‑end data validation.
• Coordinate stakeholders and ensure delivery ownership throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar Business Analyst role.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Azure Boards.
• Proven ability to work in hybrid environments and align multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Data Vault methodology
• Logical Data Modelling using PowerDesigner
• SQL (Oracle and/or SQL Server)
• Azure Boards and Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Agile/Scrum practices
• Informatica PowerCenter or IDMC (good to have)
• Collibra or similar data‑governance tools (good to have)
• CI/CD concepts
