Area Business Manager – Endocrinology (Puerto Rico)

About the role

The Endocrinology Area Business Manager will lead the launch and growth of Madrigal’s first‑to‑market therapy for MASH in Puerto Rico. You will be responsible for building relationships with endocrinologists, educating them on the clinical profile of Resmetirom, and driving product adoption to meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business plan that achieves or exceeds sales goals.
• Communicate the mechanism of action, clinical benefits, and safety profile of Resmetirom to healthcare professionals.
• Tailor product presentations to the specific needs of each provider and assess office readiness for product launch.
• Identify market access challenges and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address them.
• Analyze territory data to uncover business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Maintain and grow a network of endocrinology key opinion leaders.

Required profile

• Strong clinical and commercial acumen in the endocrinology space.
• Existing relationships with local endocrinology HCPs are strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret market access dynamics and their impact on territory performance.
• Proven experience in developing actionable business plans for product launches.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional colleagues.
