Analytics Solutions Engineer (Senior)

About the role

Continental is seeking a (Senior) Analytics Solutions Engineer to own end‑to‑end business‑critical analytics solutions for Product Management, Sales and Strategy across EMEA. You will design, develop and continuously improve Power BI applications that turn complex data into actionable insights with measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve Power BI applications and dashboard ecosystems, ensuring performance, usability and quality.
• Gather, translate and formalise business requirements into scalable technical solutions and user stories.
• Acquire, integrate, transform and model data from multiple enterprise sources (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Hive, Azure).
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, IT and business stakeholders to close data gaps and maintain a single source of truth.
• Support rollout and continuous improvement of analytics products in partnership with the Product Owner.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field.
• Multiple years of experience developing Power BI solutions with strong DAX and data‑modeling skills.
• Proven track record of delivering analytics solutions that generate measurable business impact.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within EMEA.

Required skills

• Power BI (including DAX, data modeling, performance optimisation)
• SQL and relational databases
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Hive, Azure platforms (Microsoft Fabric a plus)
• Jira and Confluence for Agile collaboration
