AI Product Engineer Intern

About the role

Join HAVI's TechHUB in Lisbon as an AI Product Engineer Intern and work on cutting‑edge AI solutions that accelerate the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with product leads, tech leads, developers and business stakeholders to prototype next‑generation agentic AI tools.

Key responsibilities

• Support the discovery and translation of business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Build rapid prototypes using agentic AI solutions to validate ideas and drive innovation.
• Assist in creating AI‑powered SDLC artifacts such as requirements, designs, code, tests and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, learning from senior experts while expanding technical and product knowledge.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement to streamline engineering workflows.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a degree program in Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Interest in AI, automation and process improvement, demonstrated through coursework or personal projects.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural, cross‑functional environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English.
